  • Budget update
  • Welcome: 
    • Went over behavior data. 72% no office referral, 22% 1, 2, or 3, 6% 4 or more. 
      • Shows time out of class. 
      • The majority is in class. 
      • Adds up to about 2 hours out of class for our 22%
        • What about the wellness room?
          • We do not have that data but Spencer can bring it to the next meeting. On average 7th grade visit more, then 6th grade, with 8th being that least. Boys visit more out of the girls. 
          • We have reduced over time. 
      • Take behavior data and wellness and see where we can increase time in the wellness room to help with those behaviors and reduce. 
      • Then we look at the students who come the most and which teacher/admin are reporting the most. 
        • Are these students meeting with the social worker, going to the wellness room, meeting with parents?
    • Goals
      • Goals #1: Our performance on the Utah rise summative assessments will be within 20% of classroom assessments. For non-RISE areas, at least 85% of students will demonstrate proficiency on Essential Learning academic vocabulary as assessed by team created CFAs. 
        • What resources do the teachers need to support the enrichment/interventions?
          • Teachers need professional development
          • Added in a new math program
          • Achieve 3000 for reading- 15 minutes block daily
          • Common Lit
      • Goal #2: 80% of our students will make a year’s worth of growth on the school wide math inventory during the 2025-2026 school year (IXL).
      • Goal #3: 80% of our students will make a year’s worth of growth on the school wide reading inventory during the 2025-2026 school year (IXL).
    • Attendance- Every Friday, home visits, (Parent liaison) 
    • Spencer will send the presentation to everyone to look at. 
  • Meeting topics for the year- 
    • coming in the email. 
    • Need to discuss- safe routes to schools. Issues with after school crossing guards. Move up in the calendar to October. 
  • MLMS Community Council Membership and elections
  • Public input
    • Issue- on information when parents are coming in and out. 
    • Safe Route- Trying to get in and out right when school gets out can we move it to 4. Keep at 3:45.
