School Improvement Plan 2024-2025: 

Proposed goals: 

Goal #1

• 2024-2025 Spring Math Inventory (Star Math) 54% of our students will be proficient or advanced in each grade level.

Goal #2

• 2024-2025 Spring Reading Inventory (Star Reading) 44% of our students will be proficient or advanced in each grade level. 

-Incentivize the kids to improve their scores somehow. We need to check the limit on how much we can spend on incentives.  Find ways for all teachers to get involved in helping the students reach their goal. 

-Looking at purchasing IXL– 5000 dollars per course section 

Goal #3

• Something similar to last year (80% of our students will master essential learnings as measured by team develop CFA’s)

- As of March 7th the school was at 89%

-There needs to be more rigor in these test so that this goal helps improve end of year tests. 

-Relearning before retaking the test so that the numbers are not skewed. Have different versions of the test. 

Public Input: Melissa asked about the success of the Wellness room. We talked about how it is a good thing, but lots of students are going because they are tired which is something that the school can’t really help with and parents should be helping students get good sleep. We also talked about how a lot of problems students are facing are because of home life and social media which can cause them stress.
