STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
 No PTSA club meeting TODAY (February 22). We will be meeting Wednesday (February 29) instead (Mrs. Humpherys room 401).
 Attention all 7th and 8th grade choirs students (past, present, and future) are invited to participate in the All Northern Utah Honor Choir. Rehearsals will begin Friday, February 17th in the choir room immediately after school. The rehearsals will last approximately 45 minutes. See Mr. Dunn for more information.
 It's Celebrity Dress Up Day on Friday, February 24, 2012. Remember MLMS dress code applies.
 This weeks featured Book of the Week is Center Court Sting by Matt Christopher. Thanks to Hannah Eckhardt for recommending it.
 Hey students! The Book of the Week Contest is back! Come to the Media Center and enter the name of a favorite book you have read. Each week one will be drawn and featured on the announcements. The person who submitted the book recommendation will win a prize from the Media Center.
 TEACHER: Do you have a field trip or activity coming up? Will you be needing sack lunches? If so, make sure you Email Gloria Olson (Cafeteria Manager) 3 weeks prior to your field trip or activity
 LUNCH MONEY - Don't forget to check with the cafeteria and see if you need to have lunch money added to your account. Remind your parents to keep your account full of money :)
 Early Morning Sports and After School Program has begun. Students wishing to stay in the building for homework help, clubs, and enrichment activities should have a parent-signed permission form (available online and at the front office in English and Spanish). We have an Activity Bus that leaves at 4:15 pm (students should be outside at 4:10 pm) and a snack in the North Cafeteria at 4 pm.
 Don't forget Wednesdays are late start days. This means schools starts at 9:25 am for students. Doors are open at 9:00 am.
At Mount Logan Middle School students stay in the designated lunch areas during lunch time. This would be the basketball courts, outdoor picnic area, north and south cafeterias. Please stay away from the portables and parked vehicles. Also, students who elect to keep the outside designated lunch areas free of trash will be allowed to continue using the outdoor lunch areas.
 Attention ALL Students: Remember cell phones are to be turned off and put away as you enter the school. You are welcome to use your cell phones after school as you exit the building.
 SCHEDULE FOR INTRAMURALS: Schedules are subject to change due to additions or school schedule changes. Be sure to check the schedule each week. Intramurals will be played on the south fields. If the weather is bad they will be held in the gyms.

 The following dates are closed to new 2011-2012 bus requests for busses leaving schools before 9:15 am or returning to schools after 1:45 pm on Monday through Thursday, and 12:30 pm on Fridays. Busses are unavailable for field trips on the following date:
